Yorubatik started as a one woman venture until a voluntary trip to Ghana (Koforidua) with the opportunity to work with women living with HIV/AIDS.

As a Yorubatik customer you can relax and enjoy wearing garments by Yorubatik as the money you spend goes towards Fairtrade in Africa.

In January 2010, Yorubatik accompanied ADAP (Africans for Development and Progress) to Ghana (Koforidua). Koforidua is one of the highly infected areas in Ghana with a very high percentage of men, women and children living with HIV-AIDS.

Yorubatik voluntarily taught the women (pictured) how to create & work with Tie and Dye. This was an inspiring, motivating and enjoyable experience.
